Dr. Saptarsi Goswami is currently working as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department - Computer Science, Bangabasi Morning College affiliated to University of Calcutta. He has a total of 22 years of experience - 11 years in academics and 11 years in IT Industry in companies like PwC, Cognizant and Tata Infotech. He has done his B.Tech. from NIT, Jaipur and his M.Tech. and PhD from University of Calcutta. He is a visiting faculty and research supervisor in A.K. Choudhury School of IT University of Calcutta and has been a founding member of the Data Science Lab, University of Calcutta.

Saptarsi has more than 75 publications in reputed international journals and conferences with an H-Index of 19. He is deeply involved in many community initiatives in Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. His YouTube lectures on AI and Machine Learning are part of National Digital Library, India and was acjudged Person of the Week by NDL in July 2020. He is an executive member of Society for Data Science (S4DS). He regularly speaks at different industry and academic forums and writes at towards datascience. He has supported Higher Education Department, Govt. of WB for various IT Projects, as well as capacity building initiatives in an advisory role.

Dr. Amit Kumar Das has been working in the IT industry and in academic research/teaching in Data Science for the past 25 years. He is currently working Principal Director at LTIMindtree. Amit has done Ph.D. from University of Calcutta and M.Tech. from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. Before that, he did graduation in Electrical Engineering from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur (currently known as IIEST).

Amit has many research papers in Data Analytics and Machine Learning published in international journals and conferences. He has co-authored textbooks on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Big Data published by Pearson, primarily for the under-graduate students. He also has been a regular speaker in Data Analytics and Machine Learning. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.

In the past Amit has worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions for more than a decade and at Tata Consultancy Services. Before joining his current role, he was working as Chief Technology Officer in a tech startup. He has also spent few years as a faculty member, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Institute of Engineering & Management. Apart, in the past, Amit has provided consulting in Data Science with companies like Rebaca Technologies, Dirac Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd and IT program management support to Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.

Prof. Amlan Chakrabarti is a Full Professor in the A.K. Choudhury School of Information Technology at the University of Calcutta and Acjunct Professor at IIIT Delhi. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the School of Engineering, Princeton University, USA during 2011-2012. He has almost 20 years of experience in Engineering Education and Research. He is the recipient of DST BOYSCAST fellowship award in Engineering Science (2011), Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Visiting Faculty Fellowship (2014), JSPS Invitation Research Award (2016), Erasmus Mundus Leaders Award (2017), Hamied Visiting

Professorship from University of Cambridge, UK (2018) and prestigious Siksha Raina Award by Dept. of Higher Education Govt. of West Bengal (2018). He has also served in various capacities in various higher education organizations both at national and international levels. Amlan has published around 200+ research papers in referred journals and conferences and has graduated 20+ Ph.D. students. He is the Series Editor of Springer Transactions on Computer Systems and Networking, Associated Editor of the Elsevier Journal of Computers and Electrical Engineering and Guest Editor of the Springer Journal of Applied Sciences. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Visitor, Distinguished Speaker of ACM, Vice Chair of IEEE CEDA India Chapter, Vice President of Data Science Society and Life Member of CSI India. His areas of research are Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Reconfigurable Computing, Cyber-physical Systems, VLSI CAD and Quantum Computing.
